THE SOUDAN.
(BY ELEOTRIO TELEGtBiPBT. — COPYRIGHT.) (RKUTER'S TH.LEGKAMS.) Sydney, Thursday. The Government has been advised that the Now South Wales contingent, will shortly embark for Sydney and will be transported at the expense of the British Government. The whole of the horses' m the Soudan with the colonial artillery have been presented to the War Office as a gift from New South Wales. A telegram from Suakim announces that Lieutenant-Colonel Richardson, Australian Commandant, is suffering from fever.
(REUTER'S SPECIAL CORRESPONDENT.) Suakih, Thursday. The greater portion of the troops under the command of Majpr-Geueral Graham, ■will leaye at once for England, the wprk of embarkation is, commencing to-day. Tho Guards leave first. The Australian troops leave immediately m the 's.s. Arab fsr Australia. The horses belonging to the New South Wales Artillery will be handed to the Royal Horse Artillery.
