The Colony was to be congratulated on its loyalty m sending men to the assistance of the Mother Country. Colonel Bichardson says that the remarks which fell from Lord WoUeley with reference to the Colonials are the most handsome he has ever heard from a General officer. Major-General Lyoayreemantle, m command of the Guards, also expressed himself highly pleased at the way the Colonials had marched, and they might well feel proud after what had been aaid by Lord Wolseley. The artillery at, Handoub was inspected by Lord Wolseley on Wednesday, and be referred m satisfactory terms to them. | He noticed the ambulance waggons favorably, and said they were of good pattern and well fitted for ; service. Ihe neat is increasing. May 9. While visiting the Ganfes on Thursday Lord Woisejey specially noticed the Australian patients, and spoke m a kind and cheering manner to them.
