Mr George Thomas reports produce prices as follows : — The activity which is being displayed m shiptuuntH of potatoes to Sydney has tended to considerably advance last week's quotations ; stock* are exceedingly light, and from £3 7h Gd per ton is readily obtainable; We look for Btill highor rate*. Onions are much iv favor, and for good av«rage samples £6 may be quoted. We report a full uinrkut Ici flour at last prices — L 8 15s to L 9. Fowls' wheat is steady at 2s Gd to 2<i 10>l ; cocksfoot grass seed, 4£d ; rye do. 4s 31. Hams and bacon continue scarce until the arrival of new cure— about the end of the present month. Cheese comes to hand very freely, and the demand not being equal to the supply, pricea are inclined to weaktn ; 51 to s£d is th« preiant market rxt«. Salt butter has tin town trade, and m aonscqnence of the Sydney- market being deluged with consignments, there has been a lull m transactions ; the present nomitifll value is B|d. Honey, m kegs, sd. Poultry has a fair demand at usual rates.
