MESSRS BARNS AND HTGGIE'S STOCK SALE REPORT. "Wangasui, May 9. Our sale nt Camphelltown on the 6th i.ist. was numerously attended, and a larg* quantity of stock came forward. Over 2300 sheepj and about 150 head of cattle wore entered. We notice an improvement iv the values of cattle of all classes, but sheep are unmistakably lower m price, and tho demand not so brisk. Small breeds of sheep are difficult to sell at even low prices, m fact wo should say that for this class of stock there is little or no demand. Wo sold nearly all tho stock at or after the sale. Cattle.— Fat cows, L4toL 4 Us ; 18---moutha-old steers, L2 to L 2 10s ; Hereford weaners, 28a ; calves, 15s to 20s ; milking cows, L 3 15s to L 5 ss. Sheep.— Fat sheep, 7a to 9s 6.1 ; inferior lambs, 3s lld to 5s 2d ; good lambs, 7s 2<] ; ewes m lambs, 6s 9d to 8» Gil. We sold a line of 560 ewes m lamb at Si 6,1. Pigs.— Bacon pigs, L 2 16s ; good forward pigs, 35s ; ijood porkers', 2 ls to 23a ; fair do. 13d to 19s ; weavers, 6s ; suckers. ss.
Horses.— Light hacks, L3 to L 8 10a.
