(UNITED PIIEBS ASSOCIATION.) New Plymouth, ' Saturday. The report sent to the Native Minister from Pariliaka, Btuting that the natives are not threatening the Europeans, m most incorrect. We are informed by a most reliable gentleman who has writto the Native Minister that the demeanour of the natives is very different to what it was three months ago. The gentleman says the natives are sullen, nud that be anticipates danger. If Government <loen not move m the matter another White Cliffs aiiair will very likely be the result. The settlers are thinking of calling a meeting iv refareuce to the matter. Sunday. Disquieting rumours are still rife as to the threatening demeanour of some of the natives at Parihaka.
