We are glad so hear that Mrs H. S. Paltnerson is rapidly recovering from the effects of the recent injuries by accident from a buggy. She expects to be abie to get ahont on. crutches m a day or two, and it is hoped that her subsequent recovery 'will' b'e rapid and complete. She has been attended since being laid up by Dr Macintire. On inquiry this afternoon we leain that Mrs Walkley is somewhat better, more favourable symptoms having set m. The annual general meeting of the Palmorstcn Football Club wiU bo held at the Royal Hotel on Saturday "evening at 8 o'clock.
