Bank Chambers Assembly Rooms.
The first practice m connection with a private assembly already started at the Bank Chambers takes place this evening. Tiie Hit-' and adjoining sitting rooms were bei-ig arranged to-day, and ibr comfort elegance the provision made lor the comfort of guests, could not be surpassed. The appointments are all that couldbe desired, and. it is doubted if inoreadequate accommodation of the special kind required could be found m any similar building even m the larger inland towns. The erection of Bank Chambers Assimply Hall has supplied a long felt want and it is satisfactory to learn that Mr Hoe's enterprise is likely to prove remunerative, as inquiries about tho Hal! are coming to hand from numerous quarters both within and outside the Borough.
