The Steamer Kaikoura.
CAUSE OF HER PROTKACTED
VOYAGE.

Wellington, April 28.
The K.M. steamer, Kaikoura, arrived at midnight. Her passage occupied 45 days, being caused principally through the vessel having the misfortune to lose two blades of her propeller. She left London on March 12, and Plymouth two days later,and made the fastest run «n record (4 days 3 hours 20 minutes) to Teneriffe. " The dny after leaving a propellor blade was lost. The Cape was jreaehed on April 4, here a diver replaced the blade, and she started again two days later. Three days out, however, another blade was lost. Tho Kaikoura did not call at Hobart She brings 364 passengers, including 170 Government immigrants for all ports. One death occurred on tho voyage, otherwise all are well on board.
