Salt butter ia reported from Sydney as being m somewhat less demand, prices having fallen 3d per lb ; this has affected Wellington rates, and buyers cantiot advance on B£d. Fresh butter is m fair request at 9d to lOd ; eggs are very scarce, and fresh laid are worth 2s fid per doz. ; honey, s£d ; turkeys, 10s ; geese, 6s ; ducks, 4s ; fowls, 3s 9d per pair.
