MESSRS BARNS AND HIGGIE'S STOCK SALE REPORT.
Wo have to report holding a good aale at our Campbelltown yanis on the 22nd inst. There was a numerous attendance and a large quantity of stock came forward and fonnd purchasers at fair values. Beef sold at advanced pricea from last sale, aud was m fair demand, and all the store cattle except one or two pens wero sold under the hammer, which lines were all quieted at prices slightly under the reserves. Fat sheep are about the satno as late quotations, but breeding ; owes aud stores of all classes were a trifle higher. We quote : — Cattle. —Fat cows, £3 14s, £4 ss, and £4 16a ; 2£ to 3-yr steers, £4 to £4 5s ; store cows and heifers, 37s to sls : forward heifers, £2 lls ; 12 to 18 mouths heifers, 33s ; wtraunrs, 21s ; milkers and quiet heifers, to calve at once, £3 15s, £4, £5 5, £6 10s, and £6 15s. Sheep. — Fat ewes, 10s Id ; 2-tooth wethers, 9s Id to 9s 3d ; ewes m lamb, 6s lid to lls 7d ; store ewes, 5s to 6b 9d. Pigs— Medium fat large frame, 40s to 41s ; good porkers, '28s 6d ; stores, 17s to 21s ; suckers and weaners, 5s to 7s. Horses. — No business worth reporting.
