Miss Skerman's Marriage.

Yesterday (Wednesday) at All Saints' the marriage of Mr Maurice Mason, of the Hutt, to Miss Skerniari was celebrated. The event 'induced the attendance of a very large congregation. The following are the names of the bridesmaids : — Misses P. Skorman, Mary Boss, Rachel Lloyd, Ada Macdonald, Julia Walegrave, Peggy Liddle, May Best,, and Emily ' Armstrong. Four of them was dressed m pale blue bawn, trimmed with lace, housemaid tucked skirts, and full boddices, mob' caps of blue and white. The groomsmen were Arther Skerman, best man, and seven others, E; Levett, E. Betliune, E. Broderic, Herbert Broderic, Leslie Skerman, A. Bill, Anthony FitzHerbert, and Albert Leslie Turner, page to the bride. The bride's dress was a cream satin, with long train and lace flounces up to the waist m front, orange blossoms on neck and wrists, and veil. The bride's mother wore a grey silk and velvet plush bonnet. The bridesmaids wore gold horseshoe brooches, the gift of the bridegroom. ' After the bride's reception the married couple drove to Ashurst en route for Taita, Hutt, the residence of the bridegroom's father. Dancing at the bride's sisters took place after the departure. We extend the customary congratulations on the auspicious occasion. The bride has left many friends m this district m which she has resided for a number of years, and her departure will be much missed m many social circles. Best wishes for herhappiness of all who knew her will accompany her to her new home.
