DEFENCES BEING PUSHED ON .
MORTON BAY PROTECTED.
Brisbane, April 15. Precautionary measures m the view of a possible outbreak of war between England and. Russia are being taken by the Queensland Government m order to place the colony m a better state of defence. Various forces are being increased, and stringent regulations drawn up to control the entry of foreign and other vessels into Morton Bay.
