(EL'.CTBIC TELEGRAPH. — COPXJIIQHT.) (reuter's telegrams.) Sydney, April 11. The dispute between the Seaman's Uniou and' the Pacific - Company - still continues. The Zealandia's regular crew having been withdrawn the Cora* pauy put on a gang of laborers to discharge the ship, but they also hav&beea induced to leave work. Sydney, April 18. It is currently reported that his Excel, lencythe Governor, Lord Loftus, "and Admiral Tyron, are in receipt of instructions from the Imperial Government, in regard to the necessary steps for promoting efficiency of the Naval and Land dofences of the colony. In consequence of Chinese being employed working aboard the Paoifio Mail Company's s.s. Zealandia, the Seamen's Union have withdrawn the crew from that vessel. Meblourne, April 13. Intelligence to hand from Geelong an* naunces the arrest of Mrs Beech and Frank Haworth, charged with the murder of Francis Beech, farmer, at Pottavel, ten miles from Geelong, on the 28th Jan. 1884. Theffemale prisoner is the widow of the murdered man, and Haworth was employed as butcher on the premises.
