Sudden Death.
(united pbkss association.) DgNEDiN, April 8. Mr William Millichamp, an old and re3|>ecled Dunedin resident, who has lately been carrying on business as a saw-maker m George-street, died very suddenly m the Southern express, between Wuihola ami Mos?iel, last evening. The deceased, m com» pany with two ladies, joined the express at Clioton, with the intention of coming on to Dunedin. At Waihola he got out for tne purpose of procuring two cups of tea tor his friends, Hildas be was m theactof stepping from the platform he staggered and fell heavily. He was at once picked up, hut was insensible, and it was found that his head had received a severe bruise. By the time, the train reached Mosgiel Mr Millichamp had expired. An inquest was held this afternoon, when evidence was given, that deceased had frequently com. plained of pain m the region ofiho heart, and a verdict was returned of •* Death from natural causes."
