At noon to-day, Swan, the pedestrian, had covered 133 miles 4 laps for 36 hours. He has undertaken to walk 500 - miles m 144 hours. Later. Swan, at 40 p.m., had disposed of Anderson, the second of the local men who are competing against him. He had then covered 170 miles, against the local men's 141 miles. DDNBDtN, April 7.
