Paris, March 30. . In consequence of General Bruce De Lisle's request for i-einforements M. Ferry will ask the Chamber for a credit vote of two hundred million francs for military operations iii that country. In the Chamber of Deputies to-day a. division took place on the motion for a further credit for military operations m Tonquin with the result' that' the Govern-ment;wex-e defeated. The Premier, Jules Ferry, accordingly placea the resignation of himself and his colleagues m the hands of President Grevy. .
