Gerald Ma6aey was not appreciated in' Wringanui, and will not complete his engagements there. Somehow this great man does not "go down" hereabouts, with all the flourish of trumpets which precedes him. Bo gave the samu lecture m Wanganui which so disappointed his Palmeratoti audience. The Wangitiiiii people have lost nothing, morally and intellectually speaking, by Mr Miisscy deciding toehaki; off the dust of his feet at thuir dooi's, and passing on.
