MR ALFRED BUCKLAND'S REPORT,

At'Remuera on Thursday (March 12) dairy cows near calving were m brisk demand at full prices ; fat cattle were m less than average number, ami. more, freely competed "for, but except for choice quality were at no higher values ; prices ranged from 18s to 20s the lOOlbs. Fat calves were unusually numerous ; 60 of them brought an average of 22s Sheep maintained last week's values, from 2£d to 2id the lb ; lambs although m much less numbers were rather lower m price. Well-bred pigs, both fat and' store, were penned m full numbers, and were m good demand throughout the sale.
