Mr George Thomas report produce prices as follows : — There is a slight tendency to weakness m breadatuffs, several leading millers South having reduced quotations to £7 15s, which has its effect on this market ; the present values are from £8 10a to £8 15s for eack-8. Fowls' grain has usual demand at 2s 9d. In oats business has been somewhat changeable, and the market .is still unsettled as to a fixed value, several parcels have changed bands' at 2s 3d to 2s 4d per bushel, exclusive of; sacks. A few lots' of the old grain are offering at 2s 4d to 2s 6d. Large supplies of onions are to hand, which have had the effect of materially altering prices, and good samples are offering from £5 10s to £6 10s; potatoes are being purchased more largely at 55s per ton, and they may now be said to have fairly ripened ; hams and bacon, ;cheese and butter have no noticeable features of alteration ; eggs still ; maintain last week's quotations (Is 7d to Is JBd), at which figure there is a brisk inquiry. Poultry has fair inquiry at usual rates. :
