Thames Cattle markets.

MESSRS BANKS AND COS WEEKLY REPORT.

At Parawai on Thursday there was a a large supply of fat cattle, though the quality was not quite equal to last week. With the exception of a few inferior lots ?hey sold readily at a slight reduction from lust week's prices. Steera made from £5 2s Gd to L 9 10s ; cows from L 4 7s 6d to L 7 17s 6d, or from 19s to 2ls per lOOlbs. Sheep were m very short supply, but owing to tho large number sold, last week's prices were unchanged. About the usual number of lambs were penned, but were slow of sale, priceß being f rom 7s 3d to 8s 9d.
