(united pbbss association.' Wellington. This Day. The Government has under consideration the distribution of the special vote of .£60,000 passed last: session for school buildings. The sum of £50,000 has been distributed amongst the several education districts according to population. The sum of £3750 haa boen taken for In* dustrial Schools and Native Schools, and the Waace, £6250; has been divided amongst Boards as nearly as possible according to their seveial necessities. The following are the several sums granted for current financial year : — Auckland, £10,682 ; Tarauaki,£l342; Wanganui, £3736; Wellington, £5007; Hawke's Bay, £3153; Marlborongh, £1146; Nelson,' £2707; North Canterbury, £9430 ; South Canterbury, £2830 j Westland and Grey, £2474; Orago, £11,128; and Southland, £3500. Circulars on the subject of School Buildings Vote have just been issued.
