Messrs Ivoary and Campbell report that business generally ' has been more brisk and healthy during the past week owing, uo doubt, to the beautiful weather we have been having. From all quarters the grain orop is reported to be m splendid condition, and it is expected the yield will bo y<>ry large. Flour is dnll at £8 15s to £9 ; old oats, 2-s 5d ; new, 2s Id, and large quantities offering from all quarters ; butter, of prime quality, 7d to 8d \ cheese, 5/1 to s{d ; bacon and hams (m cloth), }Qd and Is ; potatoes a?e arriving freely, and are selling at £3 ao £3 5s ; onions, fur the best fine sk ii> . }1h to 12s j infeiipr, 8s « fowls 3a 6d to 3s 91 i ducks, 3s 0d to is ; geese 5s ; turkeys, 8a per pair j eggs have iiqproved m demand, and sell readily at Is 3d.
