The Pall Mull Gazette considers that the offer of New South Wales to send troops to the Soudan was nobly concoived and admirably timed. All wool sales have closed, with, prices at about opening rates. The bulk of the Australian shipments were of inferior quality. 201,000 bales were catalogued, 40,000 being reserved and 60 per cent, exported.
