Karere Stock Sale.
MR G. M. SNELSON'S REPORT. Ai'my Karehj stock' YaM yesterday there was a good attendance and the bidding 'fairly brisk; most of the stock being sold under the hammer. We yarded about 80 hoad of cattle and 800 sheep all of- whiuh were quitted excepting a small pen of^attle and the fat sheep. The following were the prices realised ; — Cattle. — Mixed yearlings, 25s to 27s 6d j 2-yr old steers, £3 Is to £3 10s ; forward bullocks, £5 4s ; heifers, 33s 6d ; fat heifers, £4 Is to £4 4s ; cows, 40s. Sheep. — Romney v ewes, 8s lid; lambs, 3a 7d; purehi;ecl fiomney ewes, 18s; Lincoln yVamsj l"5s; to lg.; Romnoy Marsh puns, . Tigs! lls was offered for the fufc Avefihers but not reaching the vendors reserve they were passed m.
