Ch KiSTCHimcii, Feb. 6. r An instance of extraordinary precocity m crime came before Mr Whitefoord, R.M., this morning. > A boy 10 years of age, named George Hawkius, was convicted of breaking into a house at Prebblelon while the opcupauts were away harvesting. He carried off a cheque for £6 4s 9d, £1 10s m cash, a silver watch, .- and other articles. Ho was sent to the Durnham Industrial School.
