WEDNESDAY. (Continuation of Report.) Resolved — That tbe Secretary prepare detailed list of sections and amount of all deferred payments by next meeting, and for the future to insert the details of general expenses m Ward book. Proposed by Mr Mathieson and seconded by Mr Akers, pro forma — That No. 1 and 2 Wards-repay No. 6 Ward out of their rates half the money expended on boundary Wards between them and No. 0 Ward, the Waste Lands Board having paid the costs of such roads out of deterred payment monies. Proposed by Mr Snelson and seconded by Mr Edwards — That tenders be called for metalling a portion of Newbury Line, to the amount of .£BO. Carried. Proposed by Mr Snelson and seconded by Mr Sly — That two miles of drain be cleared is No. 2 Ward at — per chain under the supervision of the engineer. Carried. Proposed by Mr Mathieson and seconded by Mr Sly and carried — Th_at the sum of £7 be expended on No. 4 Line same to be deducted from amount of deferred payments due. Proposed by Mr Snelson and seconded by Mr Edwards, and carried — That Mr Gladstone be employed on the Longburn Road during its formation for the sum of £10. .
