Messrs Laery and Campbell leport : —Fowls' wheat, 2s 6d to 2s 91 ; outs may be quoted at about. 2s 6d, nothing, however, bub retail lots are pass in£ ; potatoes are offering freely, but may still bo quoted at. £4 to £4 10=. lu>l«me* for butter are feeble, but we should value it at 7d per lb ; cheese, 5d to o£d ; bacon and hams (m cloth), lOd and lid. Poultry is coming foeward very slackly, and may be quoted — Fowl*, 3s 6d to 4s ; geese, 03 ; turkeys, 8s ; ducks, 4s to is 6;l per pair ; e^o-s have brought at auction, Is 3d. At the borne sale on Saturday we had upwards of 40 horses to offer, of which about half were. sold, m Fact, few except screws ami 'scrubbers were passed, and for them we could not obtain any bids.
