Friendly Societies' Sports.
The aliove Sports, which were postponed from New Year's Day, were held m Mr Linton's paddock yesterday. The weather was all that could be desired, but there wais hardly the number present that was generally expected, which wa^. no doubt due to the cannier . atti-aotions' dlsewln-ie. The Volunteer Band was m attendance and added greatly to the clay's enjoyment.
