All Saints' Church.
We have received a copy of the monthly Parochial Record m connection with All Saints' Church, Palnierston, from which we clip the following : — ; ' . During December there were solemn* ised nine baptisms, one,, marriage, 'and one death. The offertories for the month were £'16 2s 7d. Confirmation Masses are now being held m the church vestry. 'Week-day services are being held at Ashurst and Tainui alternate weeks. SUBSCRIPTIONS, &C. General Chufch' Fund for: quarter' ending Dec. JJI, .±'37 18s Od-;* choir fund — a friend, £'2 10s ; Church vestry, £1 13s .6d; .Parochial ..Record, 75,j6d.; Jot* poor, Mrs Stewart (Marton), £1. One M the most! -energetic lady, collectors, through has been com--pelled to resign. ' . ! '' The 'Cliurch vesiry'is' now'used (since its enlargement) for, holding all church meetings m, and is found to be \ exceedingly useful. ;\ \ t ; ; ;
