{Herald Correspondent.) Three thousand five hundred fat wethers arrived here to-day from Hawke's-Bay, Mr John Dougherty m charge, for Jonathan Brown, Tauranga. The weather has been very bad for sheep driving, the roads being much cut up, notwithstanding which the sheep are m excellent condition. This is the largest numbfer . that has ever been driven m one mob through here. Owing to the late bad weather the Commissary Department have not any returns here as yet for the working party of the Armed Constabulary, and m consequence they are still delayed m Taiipo from making a move towards the construction of the Taupo-Wanganui road.
