MS FREEMAN R.. JACKSON'S FORT- , NIGHTLY STOCK REPORT. Wednesday, December 24. The yards were well filled with useful stock on Wednesday. The attendance was large and the bidding brisk throughout the sale, resulting m all the lines being sold at' prices satisfactory to the vendors. The demand for store cattle is somewhat better, especially for good young cows. Fat cattle are plentiful, although a large nnmber leave the district for outside markets every week. Store sheep are inquired for, and realise full rates. Pigs were at lower yalues at the sale to-day. Good porkers, fit for the butchers, meet a ready sale if of the best quality.
