The Melbourne manager of the National Mortgage Agency Company of New Zealand (Limited) reports of the local markets as follows :— Wheat is m fair demand at 3s 7d to 3s 8d ; raaltinirbarley is steady. New Zealand oatsThere is a speculative demand for feeding sorts ; a moderate inquiry for milling : qualities. New Zealand oats, under bond are quoted at 2sßd to 2s lid. The market is dull. . . The market for kauri timber -is quiet.
