Lecture.
• s We understand that Mr W. H, Warren, who recently delivered a lecture on New Zealand Industries at Wanganui, has been invited to repeat his lecture m Paltnerston, before it is published, and that, if Mr Warren's business arrange-: ments permit, he will respond to theanvitation about the middle or end of January. Mr Warren has been gazetted a member of the Committee of Aid for the coming exhibition on account pf the great interest. which he has taken manufactures and industrial resource's of the colony. His lecture j^ Wanganui was reported as able and entertaining and at the laßt meeting of The Waogar nui Progress and Industrial Association," under whose auspicea the lecture was delivered, the following special resolution was passed and transmitted to Mr Warren on the Bth ipst., yiz., " That a very hearty rote of thanks be acooi*ded' to Mr Warren for his able and interesting -lecture.'' We look forward^ to Mr Warren's lecture with great interest,
