George Thomas reports produce prices as follows : - Colonial Dour, £9 to £9 10s; Adelaide do, slight request at £14 ; oatß, limited enquiry, 3s 2d to 3s 5d ; fowls' wheat, 2s to 8s. — Haras, Canterbury cure jVisk sale, 10£ d, bacon, 9£d, farmer's cure average about 7£d ; cheese is scarce, consequent on close of season, s£d readily obtained ; fresh butter, 7d ; eggs have realised Is to Is l£d ; new potatoes are moving off without any difficulty and no extraordinary means are adopted to find buyers at 8s 6d to 9s per cwt ; new onions, scarce, 3d to 4d ; green peas, lid to Is per peck. Cherries, Us to 12s £-case ; gooseberries, 4s ; strawberries, 6d per quart. Geese, 6s 6d ; turkeys, 13s ; ducks, 5s ; and fowls, 4s 64 per pair; all m good demand.
