THRICE ROUND THE WORLD IN A YEAR.
; The steamship Tongariro, of the N.Z. Shipping, Company commanded by Captain Hallett, 8.N., arrived at Plymouth on Thursday .morning from New Zealand, and, after landing passengers, dispatches, and mails, proceeded for London. She brings a valuable cargo of colonial produce, and has 13,000 frozen sheep m good condition m her refrigerating chambers, besides L 15,000 m specie. The Tongariro left Lytteltoriv New Zealand, at 3.30 p.m. on September 11, and the passage occupied 40 days 4 hours 13 minutes, ecxluding detentions, and her steaming time is only 38 days 10 hours 31 minutes. By her arrival at Plymouth the Tongariro completes her third circuit of the globe. This has been done m 3 voyages to and from New Zealand (calling at difforent ports for coaling) m eleven months and eleven days, a feat hitherto unparrelleled m the history of ocean steaming.
