Australian Markets.
Melbourne, Nov. 18. The Melbourne manager of the National Mortgage ' and Agency Company of New Zealand (Limited) reports of the local markets as follows : — Wheat, per bushel, 3s lOd ; the market is irregular. Malting barley is slow of sale at 4s to 4s 6d. New Zealand oats— Feeding sorts are m fair demand at 3s lid to 4s ; milling do, 4b Id to 4s 2d. - The market is quieter but steady. New Zealand oats, under bond, ' 3s Id to 3s 3d, with moderate inquiry.
TIMB EE MARKET.
Kauri timber, at per 100 ft super.— Hewn logs, 13s ; sawn flitches, 16s 6d ; sawn boards, liri, 18s 6d ; ditto, l£in to 3in, 19s 6d;' dressed boards, |m, 22s ; ditto, fin, 19s. At per 100 ft lineal—T and G. flooring, 6in x l£in, 11s ; ditto, 6in x |iv, 8a 9,d- ; ditto, 4in x l£in, Ms 9d ; ditto, 4in x l£in, . 8s 6d. A good demand was experienced at to-day's sales. . ; :
