Wesleyan Conference.
(united press association.) Chkistchurch, Nov. 19. The Wesleyau General Conference decided to send a deputation to the Friendly Islands to put an end to the divisions which have interfeied with the work of the ehuroh there. After discussion on the Bible m schools question the conference resolved, That while deeply convinced of the importance of Bible reading m State schools it is the opinion of this general conference that the subject is one .which should be left to the separate : action of each annual general conference. The next annual general conference "will be held m Melbourne m 1886.
