The Shaw S4vill t< and Albion Company's ship Pleione, Caplain Renaut, arrived m. "Wellington on "Wednesday. Captain Ke.naub, \ who lias tradud to this colonj? for nearly twenty yeaiv states that, the voyage was one of the anost severe Ones he has ever made to Uew Zealand, From July 31st until A«gust 3rd.siK!-wns m company with the Orari (now m Wellington) and the Pareora, bound to New Zealand, $nd on August 1 she spoke the ship Macduff, bound from Akyab to Cork, 128 days, put, and sent letters Home by her. On September 21 the firstacal m lasting only twelve hours, was met ■with at 4 p.m. the same day a gale sprang up from the east. From September 20 to October 4 a S.E. gale "with heavy seas was experienced. On •October 2 the Pleione was again m •company with the ship Pareora, the latter 'haying her foretopgallant mast .gone.
