Police Court.

On a charge of using threatening language towards, and pointing a guu at, several Natives at Awapuni the redoubtable Maori " Kea " was today was fined 40s and costs, in default 7 days' imprisonment. He was further bound over for a period of 6 months iu his own recognizances of £25, and two other sureties of an I'qual amount, there having been a number of previous convictions against him. ■ Messrs Snelson and '"Witldegrave, occupied the Bench.
