THIS DAY.

[Before His Honor Deputy Judge Bawson.] CIVIL CASE. Blackmore v. Feilding Borough j Council. Claim ,£2OO damages to property through deslr.iction by floods. Mr Staite for plaintiff, and Mr J, Herbert Han kins for defendant. The following jury were empanelled :— Messrs T. S. Hoe, J. B. Hamilton, Hosking and Haybittle, sen. Plaintiff, examined by \'r Staite, described the damage done to his property, and the expense he had been put to by the Warwick-street bridge being carried away. The plaintiff was cross-examined by Mr Haukins and re-examined by Mr Staite. The following 1 witnesses also gave evidence till the first adjournment, viz., Messrs McNeil, Rose, and Gichard. A condensed summary of the evideuce will be given to-morrow.
