A. & P. ASSOCIATION.
We trust there will be a good attendance at the meeting convened for this evening m the Public Hall for the purpose of taking steps to inaugurate an Agricultural „ and Postoral Association fur this district. No organization could prove more benefical to the district at large than an A. and P. Aossociation which should confer incalculable benefits on all classes of the community, including both town and country* residents. In a previous article we referred to the numerous advantages likely to accrue from the establishment of an association for the promotion arid furtherance of the agricultural and pastoral interests of the district which argument, we need not recapitulate. We trust the proceedings will be characterized by a hearty unanimity indicative of a desire on the part of the settlers to ensure the complete success of the proposed association, which has our best wishes for its permanent utility and welfare.
