Sydney, Sept. 80. The captain, secoud mate, carpenter, steward, four sailors of the ship George Gordon were picked up by the steamer Trinon off Gape York on the 2nd instant. The George Gordon belonged to.Glasgo w, and was bound from Newcastle to Java when she was wrecked. The life-boat with thn mate aud 19 hands were ;missing, but have since arrived at Cooktown.
