Dunedin, Sept. 29. the bankruptcy case of George | Badicy, »lie proprietor of the Leviathan Cafe, who got a bogus contract signed m such a manner as to "impose on a local building society, came before Judge Williams to-day. The Official Assignee said it was not quite clear, whether the building society would proceed against Badley for having obtained money by false representation, and the examination vas adjourned. Mr Stout will arrive tomorrow night to give evidence m the Supreme Court case Campbell v. Seivwright and others. He will be received at the railway station by the* Mayor and other citizens, and be presented with an addres3.
