No trouble or expen-e has been spared to make both tea and concert a •uccess, and as the price of admission is fixed at a mere nominal figure and the object is a worthy one the attendance should be very large. We have received the catalogue of the Rangitikei-Manawatu Poultry and Produce Society, the first show of which will be held at Bulls on the 21st instant. There are several special prizes of £1, but the ordinary prises are 7s 6d and 3s 6d. The various classes are : Poultry, pigeon, canaries, rabbits, cats, dogs, grain, dairy produce, and bread. The first aunual report of the Marlborough meat Freezing Company has recommended a dividend of 10 per cent, and £150 to carried to be the reserve fund.
