The frozen meat by the steamer Ruapehu has arrived m excellent condition. At the Forestry Exhibition, held m Edingburgh, Australia was-award-ed one silver medal and a diploma. New Zealand was also awarded one bronze medal and three honorable mentions. Five hundred deaths irom cholera occurred at Naples on Tuesday. Many other deaths are reported as occurring m various parts of Italy from the malady. The Earl of Dufferin, British Ambassador m Turkey, who succeeds the Marquis of Ripon as Go-vernor-Geueral of India, will leave Stamboul on Tuesday next.
