A Lively meeting.

(UNITED PEBSS ASSOCIATION^ Naj?ier, Sept. 9. The hospital Committee to-day held the liveliest meeting ever known here. Mr Knowles the chairman, attacked Mr Harker, the secretary, upon a question as to the correctness of the minutes of the previous meeting. Mr I-Earker stated that lie had been unable to complete the- minutes owing to the Chairman having carried off one resolution, This Mr Knowles denied, and finally sorne very fyot language was used, Knowles accusing Harker of interpolating matter into the minutes. Harker responded by stigmatisiug the statement as a foul lie. Some members of the committee supported Harker, who claimed the right to speak as a life Governor, but Knowles refused to let him speak. Other members supported tho Chairman. U Innately ttye proceedings be.came so disgraceful that a majority of the committee left the room, and there not being a quorum left, further business could noi> be done.
