Ashurst Stock Sale.
Messrs Halcombe & Shervvill report ; — At our sale of stuck at Ashurst on Wednesday the attendance was not large, but most of those present were buyers. We yarded 90 head of oattle, the greater number of which were sold. Prices realised were — 3-yr old steers, good, £5 2s 6d ; 2-yr-old steers £2 13s offered aud refused ; cows, store, £1 10s to £2 5s ; yearlings £1 sa. We sold a buggy, horse, and harness for £29.
