Mutual Improvement Assaciation.
The usual weekly meeting of the Wesley an Young Men's Class for mutual Improvement was held at the Hchoolhou.se last evening. There was a good attendance, considering the inclemency of the night, and a very m - structive and amusing evening was passed. Headings and recitations were given by Messrs Tingey, Whitehead, Dillon, and Haybittle, jus., It was decided to give an entertainment shortly for the benefit of the society, at which Dickens' breach of promise case — Bardell versus Pickwick, will be undertaken by members of the class, A visitor who was present from Wanganui remarked that the class was making rapid strides and would he believed m a very short time be equal to the one they had m that town.
