The licensed victuallers have resolved to support the introduction into an amended Licensing Act of the following provisions : — " That the electoral roll to be used at the electiou for licensing commissioners ; that if the licensing commissioners shall refuse the renewal of auy license on the ground that the house was not required, the owner of such house shall be entitled to fair compensation for such refusal ; that any person feeliug aggrieved at the decision of the licensing commissioners shall have a right to appeal to a higher Court."
