(united press association ) Auckland, July 3. An altercation took place m Queen- \ slivefc to-day between Mussra Dargaville and Swansori, both of whom are ststnding for City West, when Mr Swanson exclaiming •' Do you mean to call me a liar," struck Mr Darfjaville with a stick, and caused a slight abrasion of tho skin on his face, from which blood appeared. Mr Dargavillo immediai ely got into a cab and drove to the club.
